“ZANDERS
Chicago hockey would be incomplete without me—the player everyone loves to hate. I understand my role, and I play it to perfection. Indeed, I relish spending a significant portion of my game time in the penalty box, only to leave the arena each night with a new girl on my arm.
What I don’t appreciate is the presence of the new flight attendant on our team’s private plane. She works for me, not the other way around. I intend to make that clear, and I’m confident that by the end of the season, she’ll be eager to quit.
Yet, every road trip blurs the lines, and I find myself questioning whether I keep pressing that flight attendant call button just to get a rise out of her, or if there’s something more to it.
STEVIE
I’ve been a flight attendant for years, thinking I’ve seen it all. However, when my new job puts me on board, serving the most egotistical and self-righteous diva in the NHL, I start to doubt everything, including the promise I made to myself never to get involved with an athlete again—no matter how annoyingly tempting he may be.
Evan Zanders is unfiltered, unapologetic, and too attractive for his own good. He revels in his image, but I despise everything about it.
Except him.”
